This National Park in Southern Oregon is actually a dormant volcano, and possibly the most beautiful place in Oregon, though that would be very hard to choose. I've visited many times over the years but most recently spent a weekend here in June 2018. The weather was perfect, with a clear night for star gazing. The next day started out clear, followed with puffy clouds, and finally huge thunderstorms so I got to enjoy the lake in many different moods!
