Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm

Nathanael Martin

April 30, 2008

Every year the 40 acres of beautifully blooming tulips that comprise the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm near Woodburn, OR come into full color near the first of April. This year they were a little late due to all the cold weather we’ve had. I visited the farm twice, first on the 6th and then on the 11th of April. I got many beautiful pictures. If you have kids, they can take advantage of all the kid’s activities going on. There is water pump racing, hay slides, horse swings, cow train rides, mud puddles and a host of other fun farm adventures. Below is a slideshow with some of the best ones I found. If you ever are in the area in late March through late April, Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm is definitely worth the stop.
