Silver Falls State Park

Nathanael Martin

May 23, 2008

Nestled into the foothills of the Cascade Range just a few miles from Silverton, OR is one of the most incredible state parks I’ve ever been to. Eroded lava flows and canyons come together with two forks of Silver Creek and a few of it’s tributaries to form 10 spectacular waterfalls all within a day’s hiking distance round trip. I have visited this park many times, but on this particular visit I was able to see eight of the ten falls.
